Below this nothing is even looked for. Too high: quiet notes get missed. Too low: room noise sets it off.
How clean the vibration has to be. Too high: the note is only caught right after you pluck. Too low: noise gets read as a note.
In landscape you can see the whole fretboard. Upright it gets too narrow to practice.
As soon as you turn it, things carry on by themselves.
